Andy is Head of Product Research at Eduserv where he is responsible for maintaining a 12-24 month outlook for new or enhanced products to be delivered in that timeframe, undertaking pilot projects and prototypes as necessary. Particular areas of interest include cloud strategy (particularly IaaS and PaaS), Big Data, Linked Data and identity management. Prior to his current role, Andy headed up the Eduserv Foundation, funding and coordinating a range of IT-related research projects within UK higher and further education institutions. Andy is regularly invited to speak at conferences and other events and is responsible for running the annual Eduserv Symposium.
