Research
Eduserv undertakes forward-thinking research and innovation that leads to better use of technology and shared services in the public sector, health and academic communities.
We do this both to inform the development of new and existing services and to increase understanding about the effective use of ICT within those communities. Ultimately, we hope that these activities will enrich our relationships with the sectors we serve, forging new links through collaborative project work, studies, events and publications.
These activities are collectively known as the Eduserv Research Programme. Our objectives are to:
- develop proofs of concepts for internal and external services;
- promote and encourage good practice within Eduserv and the community and to increase understanding of community need and solutions;
- contribute to the development of UK and international interoperability standards;
- increase innovation and knowledge transfer and maintain highly knowledgeable staff within Eduserv.
