11 April 2012
We're proud to announce that Mike Edwards, a member of our web development team, has been recognised as a Sitecore MVP - one of only five from the UK this year.
Eduserv Web Consultant Mike Edwards has been selected from over 4,500 certified developers worldwide as one of Sitecore's 52 Most Valued Professionals (MVP). The MVP program recognises exceptional technical community leaders who serve as catalysts for change and innovation.
"MVPs are technology experts who inspire others to learn and grow through active participation in the Sitecore technical community," said Lars Nielsen, senior vice president, technical marketing, Sitecore. "MVPs are not just about evangelizing Sitecore. They are passionate about improving technology and driving innovation and sharing their knowledge and real-world experiences at user groups, on blogs and on social channels.”
Mike joined Eduserv in 2006 and is now one of our most experienced Sitecore developers. He was the lead developer on award-winning sites for clients such as NHS Direct and JISC. Mike regularly shares his experience of building Sitecore-based websites at events such as Dreamcore and Sitecore User Groups. He blogs at www.experimentsincode.com and you can also follow him on Twitter at @mikeedwards83.
Mike founded Glass.Sitecore.Mapper, an opensource project which is designed to make Sitecore development easier for developers, allowing them to create more maintainable and testable solutions.
Eduserv has been providing Sitecore-based websites to clients in government, healthcare and charity for over five years. We believe it’s one of the most powerful content management systems around. Find out more about our web development services.
