News from OECD Seminar

Demonstration of OECD iLibrary at seminar on 26 January 2011 impressed.
I’ve no professional reason, other than my natural curiosity, for an interest in economic statistics or publications of the quality and detail provided by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development. However, their demonstration of the new interface, iLibrary, at the seminar in London last week sparked my interest and made me want to have a go. I was very impressed with how simple the interface seemed. The underlying database is huge and the ability to cross search and find specific chapters and even single tables and graphs is impressive. As well as key tables users can interrogate the statistical databases using the interactive tools provided and easily cite the results.
I highly recommend that institutions ask for a free trial – please contact OECD Free Trial
OECD iLibrary is available with unlimited access under the Chest Agreement. For details and how to subscribe please see OECD iLibrary Agreement.
