Cloud pilot for UK higher education

As part of the JISC’s UMF Programme, Eduserv will be delivering a higher education Cloud pilot in collaboration with the newly-established JANET Brokerage.

Key features of the UMF Cloud Pilot over the next year include:

  • An Eduserv-provisioned compute and tiered storage shared infrastructure, tailored to the needs of academia;
  • Support for multiple types of infrastructure platform, including vSphere, Cloud and physical blade deployments;
  • Ongoing management and support of this infrastructure and its users.
