OpenAthens MD training

OpenAthens Administrator Training days provide the perfect opportunity to learn from our experts about how to get more from your OpenAthens service. These days, aimed at MD (classic) users, provide hands-on training on a range of features

Hosted at our offices in Bath, we'll be covering:

  • Administrator account management
  • User account types
  • Joining the UK Access Management Federation
  • Shibboleth attributes
  • Permission sets for resources
  • Organising and reporting (statistics)
  • MyAthens customisation
  • Non-technical OpenAthens LA and SP information

The day will start from 9:30am for a 10am start, finishing by 4pm. There will be refreshments available throughout the day and lunch will be provided.

By train

Exit the train station, turn right and walk about 50m keeping the Royal Hotel on your left till you get to Royal Mead.

By car

Bath is 10 miles south of J18 on the M4 between Bristol and Swindon. When aproaching, follow signs for the city centre.

The nearest municipal car park is Avon Street. There is also the Southgate Shopping Centre, or you can use one of the three Park and Ride services. After parking, follow the signs to the train station (black signs on black poles).
