OpenAthens LA training: Bath

OpenAthens Administrator Training days provide the perfect opportunity to learn from our experts about how to get more from your OpenAthens service. These days provide hands-on training on a range of features.
This session will teach you how to configure OpenAthens LA to:
- Categorise your users
- Define attributes based on available criteria1
- Set up your attribute release policy
- Connect to both Athens & Shibboleth resources
- We will also explore the statistics interface.
This session is designed for the library based administrator (or the person acting on their behalf) who is starting to work with, or evaluate OpenAthens LA. It does not cover the installation or connection of the software.

When you arrive, come to the first floor of:

By train
Exit the train station, turn right and walk about 50m keeping the Royal Hotel on your left till you get to Royal Mead.
By car
Bath is 10 miles south of J18 on the M4 between Bristol and Swindon. When aproaching, follow signs for the city centre.
The nearest municipal car park is Avon Street. There is also the Southgate Shopping Centre, or you can use one of the three Park and Ride services. After parking, follow the signs towards the train station (black signs on black poles). Cllick the map above for details about car parking.
