Mathematical and Statistical Software Focus Group

Members of this Eduserv group are drawn from the university and college community. They meet twice a year to learn more about mathematical and statistical software and to discuss the licensing needs of the academic community.
The next meeting is on 5 December 2012 at King's College London.

- Surak Perera, Maths and Simulation representative from Adept Scientific UK will talk about developments in Maple Software
- John Holden and Louise Mitchel from NAG (National Algorithms Group) will talk about progress
13:00 approx - Lunch
13:30ish Private discussion about a wide range of mathematical and statistical software and relevant Chest Agreements. Members of the group can highlight any issues relating to licensing, deployment or use of the software with colleagues from Eduserv and other institutions.
