Final report on use of SharePoint among UK HEIs now available

The findings of an Eduserv-funded study into the use of Microsoft SharePoint in UK Higher Education Institutions are now available in a final report.

Eduserv funded the project, lead by Professor Julie McLeod of Northumbria University, in order to improve HEIs' own understanding of the level and nature of uptake amongst their peers. It will also inform Eduserv's own understanding of the level of interest, to help us deliver appropriate services to the education community.

Over 80 HEIs took part in the study via telephone interviews, online surveys and community consultations. An event hosted by Eduserv, 'Use of Microsoft SharePoint  in UK HIgher Education Institutions' also attracted over 100 people. Presentations from the event are available online.
