Payment Terms

Agreement Period

Start date: 27 July 2010 End date: 31 July 2013

Commitment Period

Institutions may participate in the Agreement at any time during its life, but shall be bound by its Terms and Conditions, including payments, until the end of the Institution's chosen Commitment Period which will be three (3) or five (5) years or in perpetuity for the appliances from the date the licence is granted.

The licence form is the current version for this agreement. You should keep a copy for your own records.  Please contact us if you need a copy of a previous version.

Licence Type

This Site licence is subject to the  Sophos Agreement 2010 - Sophos End-User Licence Agreement (PDF, 146 Kb)  .

Appliances are subject to the Sophos Agreement 2010 - Sophos Appliance Licence Agreement (PDF, 152 Kb)  .

Copying of the Software is allowed at any Institution for use by any member of staff or student.

Termination Clauses

At the end of the Licence Period, unless a further Licence Period is entered into, the Licensee must remove from its systems all copies of all licensed Products and destroy them. This does not apply to Appliances, which are purchased outright and sold with a three or five year warranty, depending on the Licence Period of the software purchased to be loaded on them, or to Safeguard Encryption, which is licensed in perpetuity and includes three or five years supported maintenance, depending on the Licence Period purchased.
