This agreement provides bespoke collections of A and I databases in arts and humanities, social sciences and technology and natural sciences.

Eligible Institutions
This Agreement is available to those HE and FE institutions in the UK, the Republic of Ireland, Research Councils and selected Chest 'Associate Sites' who previously subscribed to the 'CSA Core Collection'.
Background Information
This is a renewal of an agreement that has been in place since 1999. It is only open to existing subscribers who have already been provided with their licence forms (please contact help@eduserv.org.uk if you have any questions).

New content is added weekly.
Alterations/Additions
The databases are updated at least monthly with some being updated weekly.
Database content goes back to 1952 for certain files. Additions and enhancements to the content are included under this agreement at no additional cost. Improvements to the interface may be made from time to time throughout the agreement and any additional functionality will be included without further charge.
Pricing
This Agreement is only open to organisations which previously subscribed to the 'CSA Core Collection'. Each one has been provided with a licence stating which products they subscribe to and the relevant charge.
Payment Terms
On receipt of a completed Licence, Institutions will be invoiced for the Agreement year in which the Licence is signed.
For the subsequent year, Institutions will be invoiced three months in advance of the anniversary date of the Agreement, on 1 June 2012 and 1 June 2013 provided they have not supplied termination notice on the preceding 1 May.

Who can use the resource?
Standard licence – covers an institution for their own students and their personnel. The standard licence can be extended for additional fees;
Option for Extended Educational Purposes – covers all other educational activities that the institution is involved with.
Licence Extension for Commercial Projects – covers use of the resource in commercial projects.
Whereas the institution has the discretion over whether or not to take up the Option for Extended Educational Purposes, under the Licence Extension for Commercial Projects the publisher has the right to object to any project.

What can authorised users do?
The resources can be used for Educational Purposes – see Licence Term 1.1(b):
- education
- teaching
- distance learning
- private study
- academic research
- administration and management of the Licensee’s educational or research operations
Exclusions
- See Licence Term 3 for exclusions and restrictions
- The resources may not be used for anything other than Educational Purposes unless the Licence Extension for Commercial Projects has been bought; this allows use for the restricted “Commercial Projects” defined – see Annex B of the Licence (Licence Extension for Commercial Projects)
- Downloading of large amounts of material by authorised users that might be considered ‘systematic’.
Termination Clauses
The Licensee may retain an electronic copy of the Licensed Material in its archives for reference only. Copies of parts of the Licensed Material already made and/or used by the Licensee or Authorised Users in accordance with clause 2.2 may be retained and used in accordance with the terms of this Licence Agreement – see Licence Term 10.5
Personal Licences
Personal licences are not available.
Trials
No trial is applicable as this agreement is only open to existing subscribers.
