BookData Online UK & Ireland and BookData Online International provide a unique source of comprehensive, timely, accurate title records. These can be used for fast, easy and efficient search and discovery and will enable users to verify titles, process and availability, as well as receiving email notifications of the latest new title information.

Universities, colleges and other learning, educational and research bodies in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Other organisations aligned with Eduserv’s charitable objectives of supporting education, research bodies and the public sector may ask to participate in the Agreement. Eduserv will liaise with the Supplier about any such requests.

Nielsen BookData Online web pages are optimised for the highest standard of accessibility. All pages have been validated by an external agency and were found to be WAI-AAA compliant.
Personalisation features

Each institution's BookData Online subscription can support multiple user profiles (usage limits are on concurrent use) and each user's profile can be personalised according to their needs. Search forms can be set and stored. The default results display format, sort order and print options can all be set. Searches can be saved for later use and new title alert emails can be sent out against those searches to the address saved in personal preferences. Lists of results can be printed, saved, exported and emailed in all the formats listed previously. The format of exported spreadsheets is also fully customisable by each user.

Payment Terms
On receipt of a completed Order, Institutions will be invoiced for the Agreement year in which the Licence is signed.
In subsequent years, Institutions will be invoiced three months in advance of the anniversary date of the Agreement, on 1 May
There is monthly pro-rata charging for Institutions which become licensed partway through a licence year.
All Purchase Orders must be made out to Eduserv and Eduserv's invoices must be paid within 30 calendar days of the date of the invoice.

End date: Rolling
Institution Commitment Period
This Agreement is rolling with pricing published for at least the current year and a further two. Institutions may join the agreement at any time. They will then be committed to the agreement unless they choose to opt out by giving notice on or before 1 April annually.

What can authorised users do?
The resources can be used for Educational Purposes – see Licence Term 1.1(b):

- teaching
- distance learning
- private study
- academic research
- administration and management of the Licensee’s educational or research operations
Exclusions
- See Licence Term 3 for exclusions and restrictions
- The resources may not be used for anything other than Educational Purposes unless the Licence Extension for Commercial Projects has been bought; this allows use for the restricted “Commercial Projects” defined – see Annex B of the Licence (Licence Extension for Commercial Projects)
- Downloading of large amounts of material by authorised users that might be considered ‘systematic’.
Termination Clauses
The Licensee may retain an electronic copy of the Licensed Material in its archives for reference only. Copies of parts of the Licensed Material already made and/or used by the Licensee or Authorised Users in accordance with clause 2.2 may be retained and used in accordance with the terms of this Licence Agreement – see Licence Term 10.5
