This Agreement is available to Institutions of Higher and Further Education in the United Kingdom.
Background Information
This is a long established Chest Agreement renewed for the benefit of the many Institutions who use NAG software.

Product Description
The agreement covers the following products:
- NAG Fortran Compiler
- NAG C Library
- NAG Fortran Library
- NAG Fortran 90 Library
- NAG Data Mining Components
- NAG Toolbox for MATLAB
- NAG SMP and Multicore Library
- NAG Parallel Library
The charges also include support, new versions, system releases and associated new documentation. New platforms will be available within the charges if and when commercially available from NAG.

Pricing
Pricing is based on a per operating system model and is detailed in NAG pricing.
Sites may opt to sign until 31 July 2013 or until 31 July 2015.
Institutions may choose to purchase a Department rather than a Site Licence. Institutions choosing to purchase a Department Licence may:
- purchase a single (one) operating system Licence by paying sixty four percent (64%) of a single operating system site licence fee; or
- purchase a two or more operating systems Licence by paying fifty percent (50%) of the relevant multi-operating system site licence fee.
Payment Terms
This agreement is of three or five years duration, commencing 1 August 2010. Sites joining the agreement after this date may have their first year’s fee pro-rated so that their anniversary date is August.
On receipt of one completed Schedule 4 Part 1 (DOC, 134 Kb) plus a Purchase Order for the full fee plus VAT made payable to “Eduserv” to: Eduserv, Royal Mead, Railway Place, Bath, BA1 1SR. If the required paperwork is completed, signed, scanned and emailed to Eduserv then paper copies need not be posted. Email: finance@eduserv.org.uk with a copy to operations@nag.co.uk
For the subsequent years, Sites will be invoiced three months in advance of the anniversary date of for this Agreement (1 May).
Prices exclude VAT.
All purchase orders must be made out to Eduserv and payments must be paid within 30 calendar days of the date of invoice.Agreement Period
Start date: 1 August 2010 End date: 31 July 2015
Commitment Period
Institutions may join the agreement from the date of joining until 31 July 2013 or until 31 July 2015. Sites licensed until 31 July 2013 acn extend their licence for a further two years from 1 August 2013 to 31 July 2015. Pricing for this two year extension will be at an annual cost of the current Three Year Licence Fee per annum plus the Retail Prices Index compounded.

- One copy of the Licence (Schedule 4) (DOC, 134 Kb)
- A Purchase Order for the full amount due plus VAT made payable to "Eduserv"

Copying of the Software is allowed at any Institution for use by any member of staff or student in accordance with the General Licence Conditions for Software. Please abide by the Copyright Acknowledgement form (DOC, 70 Kb) .
Amendments to Implementations
If you wish to amend the NAG Implementations you have installed please complete Implementations Additions and Deletions Form and Letter (PDF, 293 Kb) and e-mail to operations@nag.co.uk.
Termination Clauses
At the end of the Licence Period, unless a further Licence Period is entered into, Licensee must cease all use of the Licensed Product and de-install and destroy all copies in its possession. Licensee must complete the Termination Form (DOC, 68 Kb) .

Technical Support
Sites holding site-wide licences are entitled to up to a maximum of six Technical Contacts.
Sites holding department licences are entitled to two Technical Contacts.
