Pricing

PsycBOOKS
Pricing details are restricted to bone fide users in academic institutions in the UK and Ireland - if you are having trouble accessing the pricing information then please contact Eduserv Help.

Pricing comprises two elements, the Data Fee and the Service Provision Fee. There are different fees for HE and FE;

1. The Data Fee
The data fee is given in US Dollars. Institutions will be invoiced by Eduserv in either pounds (£ UK) with the amount converted at the time when the invoice is raised or by arrangement in US $. Prices exclude VAT.

Note: If you are adding PsycArticles to your current PsycINFO subscription then you will receive a further 15% discount on PsycARTICLES and/or PsycBOOKS in the first year of the subscription.

Restricted Content

Some documents and content relating to Chest Agreements are restricted so only users at eligible institutions can view them - if you are unable to see the details and think that you should have access then please contact

help@eduserv.org.uk or call us on 01225 470523.

2. The Service Provision Fee
There is a choice of Service Providers and fees vary.

Fees are given in UK pounds, with the exception of APA whose price is stated in US dollars.

Service Provision Fees are located here: Service Providers Fees (XLSX, 85 Kb)  .

Note: Institutions will be invoiced by Eduserv for both the data fees and service provision in UK pounds with the amount converted from dollars at the time that the invoice is raised.

Payment Terms

On receipt of a completed Licence, Sites will be invoiced for the Agreement year in which the Licence is signed.

Unless written notice of cancellation of a single year licence is received by Eduserv BEFORE 1 May annually the licence will be deemed to have rolled into the following licence year and sites will be charged for that subsequent year. Sites will be invoiced three months in advance of the anniversary date of the Agreement (invoice date: 1 May 2012 and 2013).

All payments must be made to the Eduserv within 30 calendar days of the date of invoice.

You are advised that because of the requirement for Eduserv to collect monies due before the anniversary date two charges may fall initially into one academic accounting year.

There is monthly pro-rata charging for Sites which become licensed part-way through a year and sites have the option to take out a multi-year licence as long as two full years of the agreement remain.

All prices exclude VAT.

Please also note that before completing this Order you should carefully read the Products Specification and Schedule of Fees relating to this Licence Agreement, published on the Eduserv Chest website.
