SPSS - new agreement

Eduserv has signed a Chest Agreement with SPSS, commencing 1 August 2010.

We would like to thank the UCISA Software Procurement Group for their assistance and advice and also the extensive feedback provided by members of the Eduserv Maths & Stats Focus Group and the wider Community during the negotiations. The key highlights are:

• Three year agreement – pricing fixed from time of joining
• Multi-operating system licence (Windows, Mac and Linux)
• Unlimited site licence covering academic staff and students with home use rights
• No surcharge for Home Use rights (in other geographies this is a 10% uplift)
• Clarified and improved rights for research purposes
• Improved IPR remedies
