Product description
Three products are available under the Chest Agreement with Euromonitor:
Passport GMID
Passport GMID is the premium product and includes standard GMID (plus 28 countries) as well as: 80 country briefings provide a deeper understanding of a country’s key trends in specified topics, timely comments written by industry and country analysts on events making the news, a service which tracks emerging consumer trends in the top 40 national markets, 90 future demographic reports which analyse changing population structures, and a brand new industry: health and wellness.
Standard GMID - only available to renewing sites
Standard GMID includes: market reports for 52 markets across 24 FMCG industries, local and global company profiles, consumer lifestyle reports and country profiles. Standard GMID now includes an additional 28 countries -- which was an added charge in the previous Chest Agreement. In total 1600 reports will be added to provide essential market intelligence for 28 emerging markets, including: Estonia, Nigeria, Pakistan, among others. GMID is a key source for international perspectives boasting 8 million country and consumer statistics across 205 countries including historical data from 1977 and future forecasting to 2020.
Passport Markets -- only available to Further Education
Passport Markets includes information across industries, countries and consumers. It will enable users to analyse the market performance of consumer and service markets, understand the competitive landscape and identify issues driving change, including access to international demographic, macro-economic and marketing data. The content includes: 80 full country market reports and 1 million market statistics examining 21 consumer and service industries, thousands of company profiles, 205 country profiles, country briefings, consumer reports, and future demographic reports.

User permissions
Authorised User definition has been amended to include students (and teachers of those students) whose main location is a foreign university or institution but are registered with (and receive a degree from) a UK or Republic of Ireland institution. These students must be registered at a UK or Republic of Ireland campus even though they are studying at a “partner” or “affiliated” institution. Distance Learners have always been included and will continue to do so – even those who are studying overseas.
Excluded from the licence are students registered at a foreign campus of a UK or Republic of Ireland institution. Alumni are also excluded.
