OpenAthens Healthcare Federation

The OpenAthens Healthcare Federation (OAHF) provides identity and service providers in the global healthcare sector with a framework to support information exchange.

Who is it for?

Identity Providers such as academic organisations with medical schools, healthcare organisations such as hospitals and agencies providing physical and mental health services, and medical research organisations who need to enable access to online resources.

Service Providers, typically publishers of journals and other electronic resources, that are relevant to the healthcare sector.

Benefits of joining the OAHF

The OAHF is technology agnostic so you can join whichever SAML-compliant federated access management or single sign-on solution you use.
