Eduserv Foundation Symposium 2008 - Information for delegates

The Eduserv Foundation Symposium 2008 was held at the British Library on Thursday 8th May, 2008.

Details about how to get to the British Library Conference Centre are given below.

We had 50 wireless connections for use by delegates on the day and these were made available on a first come first served basis.  This was not just so that people could read their email!  Rather, we used Coveritlive to host a semi-moderated, lightweight chat facility during the talks and we encouraged people to use this during the day to share their thoughts, both with others in the room and with people who were watching the presentations on the live video stream:

We also encourage people to blog and twitter the event.  Please remember to use the ‘efsym2008’ tag.

We also created a social network for the 2008 symposium.  The idea was to allow delegates, both those in the room and those watching the live video stream, to get a feel for who else was at the event and what their interests were.  A kind of virtual delegate list if you like.  To sign up, please go to:

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us using the email address symposium@eduserv.org.uk.
