Ongoing developments to the Chest website
You may already be aware that earlier this year we moved the content of the Chest website onto a new content management system (CMS). This was the first phase of our programme of ongoing improvements to the Eduserv Chest website.
Since the introduction of the CMS, we have been busy gathering information to help make our website better with the ultimate aim of making your lives easier. So far we have undertaken face-to-face interviews with both HE & FE contacts, as well as conducting telephone interviews and workshops to establish your requirements from the Chest website. We have also provided everyone with the opportunity to submit their thoughts via a questionnaire which was on our website during the early part of the year.
The next phase of developments
It’s been a difficult task but we feel we are now ready to start the next phase of developments. Over the next few weeks, the Eduserv Web Development team will be gathering additional systems information which will enable them to work with Chest to produce a full functional specification. It is our intention to keep the site simple, whilst improving on the usability & functionality of the website.
