Nielsen BookData Search & Discovery Tools Agreement

Through this Agreement Nielsen wishes to offer two products: BookData Online UK & Ireland and BookData Online International. These products replace those previously available under this agreement: LibWeb, LibWeb Global, BookFind-Online, BookFind-Online Premier and BookWise.  These databases now provide a unique source of comprehensive, timely, accurate title records.  These can be used for fast, easy and efficient search and discovery.  This will enable users to verify titles, proces and availability, as well as receiving email notifications of the latest new title information.
Improvements to functionality have created a more friendly and intuative interface.  Access levels can now be adjusted to allow different levels of access for different users.  The search forms are also customisable ans the Search History lists the previous 50 searches.

The services all offer comprehensive bibliographic data for English-language books and other published media. Databases include in-print, forthcoming and out of print titles - basic records, enriched data, including Tables of Contents, jackets/cover images, price, availability, extensive classifications and descriptive content. These are subscription services available via the Internet.
